Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared in the land of Bharata-varsa, specifically in Bengal, in the district of Nadia, where Navadvipa is situated.
It is therefore to be concluded, as stated by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura, that within this universe, this earth is the best planet, and on this planet the land of Bharata-varsa is the best; in the land of Bharatavarsa, Bengal is still better, in Bengal the district of Nadia is still better, and in Nadia the best place is Navadvipa because Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu appeared there to inaugurate the performance of the sacrifice of chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra.

Government of India has an online Grievance forum at
The government wants people to use this tool to highlight the problems they faced while dealing with Government officials or departments like Passport Office, Electricity board, BSNL/MTNL, Railways etc etc.
I know many people will say that these things don't work in India, but this actually works as one of our colleague in CSC found. The guy I'm talking about lives in Faridabad. Couple of months back, the Faridabad Municipal Corporation laid new roads in his area and the residents were very happy about it. But 2 weeks later, BSNL dug up the newly laid roads to install new cables which annoyed all the residents including this guy. But it was only this guy! Who used the above listed grievance forum to highlight his concern. And to his surprise, BSNL and Municipal Corporation of Faridabad was served a show cause notice and the guy received a copy of the notice in one week.
Government has asked the MC and BSNL about the goof up as it's clear that both the government departments were not in sync at all.
So use this grievance forum and educate others who don't know about this facility. You can go to website. This way we can at least raise our concerns instead of just talking about the ' System' in India.
This guy Louis Theroux from the BBC does these cheeky documentaries. In this one he goes to Mayapur and meets Jayapataka Swami. He manges to have some fun without being completely offensive:

M.S. Subbulakshmi gave the world such beautiful devotional music. I happened to come across these two videos of her singing the same bhajan. One is from her early days in film and another is towards the end of her life.
And several years later ..... watch her facial expressions and hand gestures. I don't think anyone could fake that. She loves Krishna.
Today I ported over a theme from the CSS Zen Garden site for the latest version of Drupal 6. I can't upgrade this site just yet because there are a few modules that I'm waiting on to catch up to 6.
Since I'm ok with the current theme on Gopala's site - I'll probably make this new one available on the Themes section of the Drupal site. Its about time I contributed something to the Drupal community besides feature requests.
Download this theme for Drupal 6.x here.
Name: Skyroots (original name from the CSS Zen skin from which it took birth)
Type: 2-Column, Fixed width, just CSS (no tables)
The prayers of Narottama Dasa Thakura, this sound is above the material platform. It is directly from the spiritual platform. And there is no need of understanding the language.
It is just like a thunderburst. Everyone can hear the sound of thunder--there is no misunderstanding. Similarly, these songs are above the material platform, and they crack like thunder within your heart. There is so much depth of meaning in Narottama dasa Thakura's prayers.
